We developed detailed concepts and master planning alongside the Big Cat Sanctuary team to expand their Lion habitat and cater for specialist care and visitor lodges.

The design intent was to create a seamless transition from the original habitat to the new extended paddock allowing for a natural environment with sympathetic planting, rock work and a waterhole where the lions could find places to shelter and not be exposed to constant viewing.

The on show den was a key element within the new Lion house.
